Vrličko kolo (Dance from Vrlika)

It is still performed on festive occasions around Vrlika - a locality situated in Dalmatian inland, next to Cetina river.

The dance is performed without musical accompaniment and dancers give the rhythm by thumping their feet on the ground. The performance depicts the hard life on bare land as well as the strength of people who live there.
